Welcome to New House Farm
New House Farm Shop and Tea Room is located in a lovingly renovated and restored 16th century Sussex barn.
The Farm Shop highlights the best locally sourced produce found across Sussex, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh breads, a wide selection of locally butchered meats, wine, craft beer, cider and ale along with an amazing cheese/deli and of course those store cupboard essentials.
Our tea rooms offer you the chance to sit back, relax and enjoy a choice of locally baked cakes, sandwiches, breakfasts or for those with a larger apetite, our delicious New House Ploughman’s. Whatever your food of choice, you can wash it all down with a range of freshly brewed teas and coffees, although we would certainly recommend trying our Hot Chocolate.
New House Farm Shop is located on a working farm situated within the beautiful Sussex countryside on the outskirts of Horsham.
It’s worth a visit just to see the barn and its vaulted roof.
OUR FARM
New House Farm is already amongst the more diverse farms in Horsham. Max Walton, a fourth generation farmer, devotes most of the farm’s 900 acres to arable farming, producing milling wheat, milling oats, oilseed rape, beans and linseed which are exported all over the world.

Max’s father Gerald bought New House Farm in 1960, with the farm initially running as a cattle and arable farm.
Previously, Jack Walton - Gerald’s father - had operated a farm nearby at Chennells Brook, where he was a tenant on the land. The farm now occupies land from Moorhead Roundabout to Faygate and spreads across both sides of the A264. A small section of the popular Horsham Riverside Walk extends through the farm where you can catch idyllic views over to the Graylands Estate and further afield towards Leith Hill Tower.

We are proud to support the Sussex Six campaign, an initiative set up by Horsham District Council that highlights the fantastic range of suppliers and produce local to the Horsham Area. More and more people are choosing to shop local, both from an environmental impact and for the overall quality of products.
